What are St Stephen's opening hours?

St Stephen's is open from 9am - 7pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The centre is open until late on Thursdays, opening at 9am and closing at 8pm.

When is the car park open and how many spaces do you have? Are there disabled / parent and child spaces available?

The car park is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There are 14 parent and child parking spaces, and 22 reserved for disabled customers.

The tariffs are as follows:
Up to 3 hours = £2.00
3 to 4 hours   = £3.50

 It couldn't be simpler to get to St Stephen's. WIth the new transport interchange located just a few steps away - the centre is easily accessed by both train and bus.

Does the centre have Shopmobility facilities?

St Stephen's is proud to work in partnership with the new Travel Extra Mobility Service, which is now open in the Paragon Transport Interchange. This service gives the opportunity to hire a mobility scooter or wheelchair, making shopping at St Ste

There are also two further wheelchairs available for use within the Centre. Simply visit the Centre Manager's suite for more information.

You can contact the TravelExtra Mobility Service on 01482 212832. Wheelchairs are also available within the centre, simply speak to a customer services officer when you arrive.

St Stephen's also offers two 'Changing Places' toilets, the only ones in the city, which have specialist facilities for severely disabled people and extra room for up to two carers. One is positioned on the toilet corridor accessible from the main mall and the other is on the lower ground floor near Tesco's car park.

Are there baby changing/feeding facilities?

There are clearly signposted Baby Changing facilities on the ground floor and first floor. Changing facilities can also be found in the women's toilets.

  • Car

    St Stephen's is easily accessible by car, at the heart of Hull city centre. 

    The following directions will help you find your way to the centre:


    From the West: On the A63 follow signs for Hull City Centre. At Myton Gate roundabout take the A1079 onto Ferensway. Pass St Stephen's on the left. Turn onto Portland Place. The car park is straight ahead.


    From the North: Take the A1079 to Hull City Centre then onto Ferensway. Turn onto Portland Place. The car park is straight ahead.


    From the East: Take A165 to Hull. Continue onto Freetown Way. At the traffic lights turn left onto Ferensway. Turn onto Portland Place. The car park is straight ahead.

  • Train

    Arrive in style with the state-of-the-art fully integrated transport interchange situated just a few steps from St Stephen's.

  • Bus

    You can also access buses, coaches and taxis from the transport interchange. A regular park and ride service runs from Priory Park, Hessle.

Facilities

St Stephen's car park is open 24 hours a day.

There are over 800 parking spaces including bays for disabled drivers and parents with children. These are situated on each floor of the car park.

Entry to the car park after 5.30pm has a charge of £1.00 (up to midnight), whilst Sunday parking is £2 for the day. There is a 15 minute grace period once your ticket has been paid, to allow time to get back to your car.

We are proud that our car park has been issued the Park Mark, an award given by the Police to car parks that have achieved the standards of the Safer Parking Scheme, designed to reduce crime in car parks.

 

The Hull Cycle Hub is nearby, located at Hull Paragon Interchange, offering secure, staffed storage at a minimal cost of £1.00 per day.

 

Cash machines are located on the lower and ground floors of the centre.
 

Car charge points are available on the 1st floor of our multi-storey car park.

There are four separate charging bays.  Two are served by quick-charge 32amp charging points the other two have a 3 pin 13 amp socket and a blue 16 amp commando sockets.

These are available 24 hours and are free of charge to use.  Parking charges do still apply though.

 

If you hate carrying around a wet umbrella then our Brolly Wrap service will save you the bother. Find this service at both entrances to the centre.

Services

A car valet service is available from the Car Wash Company in the designated area of the car park. For more information, please call 0844 3352001.

St Stephen's uses Child Safe Zones to reassure parents and get help fast.

Look out for window stickers carrying our helpline number. If you lose a child or need to report an incident, call the helpline or talk directly to our Customer Service Officer's patrolling the centre.

Complimentary wristbands can also be collected from the Centre Management Suite; simply write your mobile number on the wristband and place it on your child. If your child is then lost in the centre at any point, our officers can contact you right away.

A Click and Collect service is available for the following retailers - Argos Extra, Boux Avenue, Carphone Warehouse, Clarks, Dorothy Perkins, GAME, New Look, Next, Schuh, Superdrug, Superdry, Tesco Extra, The Entertainer, Topman, Vodafone, and Zara. Please refer to their individual websites for further details.

St Stephen's has gone wireless and now offers free BT wifi to all of its customers.

St Stephen's employs a 24hr security team. All our Customer Service Officers are SIA (Security Industry Authority) licensed. For your safety and security, CCTV cameras operate in St Stephen's and surrounding land. If you need any assistance, please approach a member of the security team who are positioned throughout the centre.

Accessibility

St Stephen's are proud to take part in the Safe Places scheme. This helps to keep vulnerable people safe while they're out and about in Hull. 

The scheme is largely for people who:

  • have learning disabilities or difficulties
  • have dementia
  • need support or require assistance whilst in public 

At St Stephen's you can have free use of a wheelchair for the duration of your visit to the shopping centre. The centre also works in partnership with Travel Extra Mobility Service based in the Paragon Transport Interchange. This provides mobility scooters and wheelchairs available for hire, making shopping at St Stephen's even easier. They can be contacted on 01482 212832.
