St Stephen’s is proud to work in partnership with the new TravelExtra Mobility Service now open in the Paragon Transport Interchange based within the Community Junction office. This service provides assistance to anyone with mobility issues including the opportunity to hire a mobility scooter or wheelchair, thus making shopping at Stephen's and around the City Centre even easier. At St Stephen's you can still have free use of a wheelchair for the duration of your visit to the shopping centre, This can either be booked prior to your trip or alternatively our Customer Service Officers can assist you when you arrive. To pre-book please call 01482 313960.

St Stephen's also offers two 'Changing Places' toilets the only ones in the city, which have specialist facilities for severely disabled people and extra room for up to two carers. One is positioned on the toilet corridor accessible from the main mall and the other is on the lower ground floor en route to Tesco's car park, which has been funded by Aiming High Capital money. All disabled toilets can only be accessed using a RADAR key, which can be obtained from any of our Customer Service Officers patrolling the Street if you don't have your own. Disabled car parking spaces are clearly marked in both the Tesco car park and the St Stephen's car park (via Portland Place) and there are wheelchair friendly ramps, lifts and automatic door openings, all to make your visit to St Stephen's even more convenient.
